IQ B Finder is a free directory of businesses and workers across Iraq. This page explains what information the app uses and why.

No accounts

You don't need an account. We never ask for your name, phone number or email to search or save cards.

What stays on your phone

Your language, your chosen city and your saved cards are stored only on your phone.

If you allow it, the app uses your approximate location once to pick the nearest city. The location itself is not sent to our server; only the city you choose is used.

Anonymous device ID

The app creates a random ID on your phone. It is sent with card requests, reports and usage counts so we can stop abuse, for example by limiting requests per day. It is not linked to your name, your phone number or your device hardware.

Usage counts

We count, per day, how often cards are viewed and how often Call, WhatsApp, Email and Map are tapped, together with the city you chose. We also keep the words people search for. These are totals to improve the directory, not personal profiles.

Crash reports

If the app crashes or hits an error, it sends a technical report to our error-tracking service (Sentry): the error, the screen, the app version and the phone model and system version. It doesn't include your name, phone number, location or the cards you saved.

Business and worker cards

When you request a card, the information you send (name, work, phone, WhatsApp, email and location) is reviewed by our team. Once approved it is shown publicly in the app and on the card's web page, so anyone can see and share it. Don't include anything you don't want to be public.

Reports

Reports and notes you send about a card are seen only by our team and are used to check that card.

Changing or removing a card

To change or remove your card, open Settings in the app and tap "Request a change to my card". This contacts us on WhatsApp with your card number.

Sharing

We don't sell your information. When you contact a business, the app opens your phone, WhatsApp, email or maps app; those apps have their own privacy policies.
